> Seattle Chapter May Event
> Since our usual chapter meeting is on Memorial Day, let’s all get together and have a little adventure!
>
> Many of us have said that they are not as confident in their orientation and mobility skills since the pandemic, and this is a great time to work on those skills in a group setting.
>
> The plan is to take the fairy across to Bainbridge Island to spend some time with Kris Colcock! There are many places to explore in downtown Baimbridge and Kris has picked an amazing pizza place to have lunch together.

> What you need to know:
>
> This event will be on Saturday, May 13th.
> We’ll meet in front of the Colman building, which takes up an entire block between Marian and Columbia Street on the west side of 1st avenue.
> The address is: 811 1st Ave, Seattle, WA 98104.
> This is the best place to meet up if you will be using Access.
> Someone will be there to meet you when you arrive. I will be arriving by 8:15 In case someone gets there way early.
> If people want to arrive early on purpose, we are happy to show you where Top Pot donuts and café is located! Marci showed me where they are, and it’s all downhill from there. Their stuff is just THAT good.
> Please try your very best to arrive no later than 10:30, I would rather people come early than miss our fairy. Fairies only run once an hour each way and we don’t want to cut our trip short.
> We want to be on the 11:25 Fairy, and they start boarding at 11:15.
> We want to make sure everyone has ample time to walk to the fairy, so I would like to start heading that way no later than 10:30.
> There is a place where you can buy paper tickets from a live person on our way to the fairy, because the ticket machines are not accessible.
> The cost is $4.70, you can also pay with your ORCA card if you have money in your e-purse.
> Please RSVP as soon as possible. Contact someone on the board and tell them if you are planning to attend no later than May 10th. We need to have an accurate count of everyone attending.
> Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, the plan is to be on the 3:55 fairy back home from Baimbridge to Seattle.
> We should arrive back at the Colman building around 4:45.
> If you are taking Access, try to have your pickup window start at 5:00, just in case something takes more time than planned.
> Someone will wait with you until your ride a
