[NFBWATlk] Blind Seniors Enjoy the spring weather

Hi Listers,

May is a busy month for many of us. Normally, the third Saturday is when blind persons who are seniors and our friends have a “meet up” using Zoom at noon Pacific time. Since May has turned out to be a great time for outdoor activities, even though a couple of days were hotter than most would like,     we won’t be having our monthly get together. Doesn’t seem as though there are many folks that are around and wanting to present on a topic anyway, so will work on getting something for June. We will be working over the next months to spread the word about the senior meet ups, and trying to urge more folks to join the conversations.  

But this weekend you are free to get out and just have a great time. I know I’ll have a great Sunday, as that’s my birthday. (How’s that for a brazen announcement. 😊) Anyway, we’ll keep planning for June, and if anyone wants to pitch in with ideas for Kaye Kipp or me, feel free. We can always use help bringing people the meet ups for various discussions.

Have a great weekend, and we’ll meet up in June again.
