Good Evening,

The NFB Bell Academy In-person training will be held:
Date June 1 - 2, 2024
Time: Saturday 9am - 6pm, Sunday 9am - 1pm (Travelers plan to arrive Friday
night to ensure you are at WSSB on time)

Where: Washington State School for the Blind campus, Vancouver, WA

Who needs to attend? People who will be on-site working with children.
People who will be house parents. People who want to help deliver program
activities to children and are NOT part of a visiting presentation.

Lodging - For those outside of Vancouver / Portland area, we will provide a
place to stay. We need to know who will need a place to stay ASAP Please
connect with me via email or phone if you need a place to stay.

Transportation - If you live in Vancouver, Portland or somewhere nearby and
it is cheaper for you to take Uber / Lyft than spend the night, we can
reimburse your transportation costs. You must gete an OK from me to have
transportation costs reimbursed.

Local Volunteers - Thoses who live in Vancouver/ Portland or nearby areas,
we still need to know if you are attending to ensure we have enough supplies
for the weekend.

   A. Are you attending?
   B. Do you need a place to stay?
   C. Will you need transportation reimbursement?

This in-person training is important to go over program specific topics.
Carla is our Head Trainer. You do not want to miss this opportunity to get
together before the NFB Bell Academy starts.
