A cordial reminder that our chapter's picnic / BBQ social event is 
happening soon. Details are below.

  Save the Date!


  2024 Summer Picnic of the National Federation of the Blind of
  Washington's Greater Seattle Chapter!


The Seattle chapter of the National Federation of the Blind (NFB) will 
host a summer picnic and potluck on Saturday, August 17. The location is 
the house of Jamal and Susan Mazrui:

7749 Jones Avenue Northwest, in Seattle.

It is in the Ballard section of Seattle, reachable by the 40 and 45 buses.


The event will run from about 3 to 9 PM PDT. Anyone is welcome.


The chapter will provide food for a barbecue, including burgers and 
hotdogs. Guests are encouraged to bring any other food or drink to 
share. there will be games and fun things to try!

Anyone wishing to attend is strongly encouraged to RSVP in advance, 
preferably by end of this week, for planning purposes.
