> The National Federation of the Blind of Washington has some funds available to assist people who want to attend the 2025 NFB Washington Seminar February 3 - February 6 in Washington DC. The deadline to apply for NFBW funding is Sunday, November 17, 2024. Send applications to Marci Carpenter, NFBW President, at mjc59 at comcast.net <mailto:mjc59 at comcast.net>. An Award Committee will review all applications and will notify all applicants of its decisions by Sunday, November 24. Please read the information on the application form carefully. All attendees are expected to pay some portion of the costs. Below my signature are some estimated costs. Washington Seminar dates: 2/3 - 2/6
You need to fly to Washington DC on Sunday, 2/2. Activities begin the morning of Monday, 2/3. Fly home on 2/6 in the late afternoon or evening

Some estimated costs:
Airfare: $450
Hotel: $440 each with 2 people in a room, including taxes and fees
Food and ground transportation: $280
