Currently Medicare pays for Telehealth services.   This service has been temporarily extended over the past couple of years. Legislation was submitted in the house and senate to make this service permanent. This bill, the CONNECT to health Act HR 4206, will be essential to blind persons on Medicare to continue to have Telehealth services. As you know blind people have many barriers to having in person appointments. Especially in our area, a rural community, with difficulty with transportation. We are pleased to let you know that our congresswoman Emily Randall signed on to this legislation. I am asking that you call her office or send in an email thanking her for supporting HR4206.
