2015 Awards Program.</p>

<p class="MsoPlainText">Please make personal contacts with disability placement agencies in your area such as Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Developmental Disability Administration, Department of Services for the Blind and many others; they are already
working with qualified employers and can make a nomination. At a minimum, please send out the attached nomination form to your contact list and ask them to nominate someone and forward the application to others.</p>

<p class="MsoPlainText">Consider submitting a nomination for an employer that has a strong record of recruiting, hiring and promoting workers with disabilities. Whether it is your employer or an employer in your community, we strongly recommend you partner
with the employer to get the necessary information to complete the nomination form.

<p class="MsoPlainText">We also need nominations for the Governor’s Trophy, an individual award presented to a person with a disability who has significantly enhanced the empowerment of individuals with disabilities. Current GCDE members do not qualify for
this award. If the candidate works within the disability arena, their accomplishments must go beyond their current job duties to be considered.</p>

<p class="MsoPlainText">Each nominee and a guest will be invited to attend the awards ceremony, which is being held on October 30th at the Microsoft Conference Center in Redmond.</p>
