Greetings,
Please find below two pieces of correspondence from Bob Hicks regarding the injury
of Joe Kirchner.  We should all keep Joe in our prayers and send him cards and letters
to make his stay in the hospital a little cheerier.

Hi Charlene.  Please let the members know that Joe Kirchner was injured in a hit
and run accident last night while walking home from Bible Study.  Joe spent the night
in ICU as a precaution.  He has bi-lateral pelvic fractures and required stitches
for some head wounds.  He is awake and talking and is expected to move to a regular
room this afternoon.  He is at
Wheeling Medical Park
, but I don't know a room number or the hospital address, but I will get them.  Joe
is expected to take four to six weeks for the pelvic fractures to heal.  I'll send
updates as I get them.  thanks
NEW MESSAGE DATED 12/4/08
HI Charlene.  Joe is still in ICU.  There were no witnesses and Joe does not remember
even being hit by the car, so we don't know if it was a quiet car or not.  We still
don't have a room number.
