[Nfbwv-talk] Update on Marlene Lamp

Greetings,
Marlene Lamp of the Harrison County Chapter underwent serious surgery this past weekend.
She has been having abdominal pain and they didn't know what was wrong with her.
Marlene's husband took her to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown Saturday night,
and they finally got a doctor who seemed to know what was going on with Marlene.
The doctor called in a surgical team as she thought there was some leakage going
on with Marlene's bowels.  Well, they found out that a section of Marlene's bowels
burst.  Of course they are very concerned about infection and are pumping Marlene
full of antibiotics.  They went in surgically and removed a foot of Marlene's bowel
and found that her problems were due to Chrome's Disease.  Marlene will have an ileostomy
for about a year.  She is in a lot of pain right now.  Please keep Marlene in your
thoughts and prayers.
