Last weekend during the auction at our state convention, some of you may 
recall that there was some discussion of the West Virginia Encyclopedia, 
published by the West Virginia Humanities Council.

Well, I have subsequently discovered that the online edition is, indeed, up 
and running, and thus far it appears to be a pretty accessible site.  In 
case any of you want to check it out, you should find it at
