Thanks Charlene. I had a blast at the convention in Clarksburg. I wish I could have stayed the entire weekend. The auction was way too much fun, and the luncheon was great. We've got a very bright group of young men and women in the students group. BTW, the 4 dozen cookies I bought only lasted me a day or two. Yumm!

Darren

Darren,

Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I sure would like to see this.

I also want to thank you for the great job you did at the student division luncheon and with the auction. People are still talking about the good tips you gave the students.

Tell Paula it was good to see her at the convention and I wish I would have had more time to visit with her.

Charlene

Hello NFB of WV,
I was asked to forward this announcement to my contacts in WV.

Darren

Dear Friends,:

The Teubert Foundation and the Huntington Museum of Art are teaming up to bring to Huntington a wonderful opportunity.
On October 12, 2011, at the Museum's Auditorium, there will be a screening of the movie, Going Blind. The producer of this film, Joe Lovett, will be here from NYC to introduce the film and conduct a discussion and Q&A afterwards. Mr. Lovett is a Peabody Award winning producer having produced for CBS News and ABC News 20/20. He has glaucoma and over the years has lost a significant amount of his vision.
He was inspired to create this documentary to increase public awareness of blindness, vision loss and the vision rehabilitation system.
Enclosed is a description of the film.

This is a great opportunity for the entire community but also a special occasion for those who serve in the fields that deal with visual impairments. We certainly hope that you will be able to attend this event and look forward to seeing you at the Museum on October 12, 2011. If you should have any questions regarding the film, please do not hesitate to contact either of us.

                                                            Very truly yours,
