Sheri, perhaps you have some tips on how you made your cake. Mine was pretty good but I had a ittle difficulty stacking the layers without them getting lop-sided. That frosting is so good and wouldn't it make a wonderful topping for a spice cake! I'm seriously considering making another one for Easter. I usually have pretty good luck with cakes. By the way, that pumpkin dessert was truly delicious and very well received. I was really surprised.
I want to know how ittok you a week to make a carrot cake. (Big Smile)
I think your list of supplies for the Braille Tutoring Program is great. I think I'm going to order my own personal copy of "the Slate Book" but want to look at it first. I already have two possible students who live in my community. One is an adult who has developed a real interest in learning Braille but isn't sure that he can do it. I think he can; he is very good with his hands and he used to work in Electronics. He does a lotwood working, is very comfortable with power tools andhis major concern is that because he is a dialysis patient sometimes has a low energy threshold. I'm really excited about this project.
Joyce

So does the list look ok to you as is?
Let me know when you want details on how I made that cake (smile)

Sheri, here are my thoughts on the slates. I don't think the material that Gary Price gave us has anything to do with the materials we order. I think we all should have the same kinds of slates and that we should just leave his stuff out of the equation. We don't know if the slates are old, or if they are sprung or even what kind they are. I think this has no impact on on anything.

Sheri,
Don't forget I need to check the slates I have in my basement. I will try to do that when I get home from work.
Is Marijane our contact person for things? Do we have to run things by her or just give her a report from time-to-time? How does Rick Henderson fit into things?
Charlene

Hi all
Would you please take a look at this attachment and let me know if there are any changes you'd like me to make? Please note that we can only order 10 reams of paper at a time. We can always place a second order as needed. If this looks good to you, I'll forward a final copy to Charlene, Marcus, Marijane, and Rick Henderson. Thanks for taking a look.
