[Nfbwv-talk] MORE REPORTING ON WVSDB

Brad,

This is something we can consider. I have been serving on an advisory
board the school put together regarding this matter and I take advantage
of every opportunity I can to speak on behalf of the needs of blind
students. It is somewhat of a tricky situation trying to keep tabs on
things and figuring out what is true and what isn't and what are
everyone's true intentions. Change is difficult. While I feel some of
the suggestions are good and can benefit the school and the students, it
is difficult to ascertain how supportive to be when you don't know if
there are any underlying factors in the works.

Charlene

Ed, Charlene and others:

I'm thinking that we haven't had issues to bring before the legislature
in the past several sessions. Perhaps at the March board meeting we
might consider organizing a Legislative Briefing or similar event to
keep the NFB WV in front of them and to share our perspective and wishes

for the School as well as addressing any other educational issues we
believe are appropriate for legislative notice.
