[Nfbwv-talk] Announcing New Ways to Connect

Federationists,

I am pleased to announce a new feature involving our web server that I have
actually been meaning to implement for quite some time. Though I had a few
technical glitches in the past, the new servers implemented by Ed's long
time good friend Dave Andrews has made this considerably easier in a few
technical respects.

In order to establish a better sense of oneness and corporate unity in our
communications, I am pleased to announce that some of us - namely our
chapters, divisions, and officers - now have email addresses under the
"nfbwv.org" domain. This will ensure that, as names and faces change over
time, your contact means should not have to change with them if you want to
get a hold of a particular chapter. It will also aid in using this address
as contact from the outside to contact your chapter/division, and will also
not necessitate that everyone display their personal emails publicly
(something not really recommended). Also if a chapter ever decides to
employ social networking on its own (e.g., Facebook et. al.), this will
facilitate that.

These addresses are, for now, set up to forward to a designated address
(usually a chapter/division president) that can change as necessary.

The addresses are:

At Large - atlarge at nfbwv.org

Martinsburg - martinsburg at nfbwv.org

Harrison - harrison at nfbwv.org

Kanawha - kanawha at nfbwv.org

Huntington - huntington at nfbwv.org

Wheeling - wheeling at nfbwv.org (forwarding can start once I get a valid email
address from Bob or someone up there, currently I don't have one listed)

NAPUB - wvnapub at nfbwv.org

WVABS - wvabs at nfbwv.org

And, of course.

To contact Charlene: president at nfbwv.org

This tends to follow the conventions and protocols that many affiliates and
the National Center employ.

All these addresses are currently on the website, so please feel free to
experiment and give these out as your chapter's contact.
