Thank you Charlene and everyone else on the list for your good luck wishes. We are definitely feeling a little remorse about leaving, but we will be back as often as we can, and Paula and I truly hope we can make it back for a state convention.

Darren

Oh, Darren, I don't want you and Paula to leave West Virginia!!! I am very happy for you and this sounds like a great opportunity for you. I wish you and Paula the best and I do hope you make it back to West Virginia to see us. This year's state convention would be perfect.
Smile We love having you and Paula as a part of our family and we will think of you often.

Charlene

Hello NFB of WV Friends,

I don't know if turning 50 later this year and an impending midlife crisis has anything to do with it, but I have made what has been a difficult decision to move to Silicon Valley and take a job with Yahoo as an accessibility specialist for mobile applications. It's been a great 12 years at AFB Tech, and it's been tough getting used to the idea of leaving my team mates in Huntington and across the country. We are certainly excited about the new opportunities, but a bit nervous about the change, and reluctant to leave West Virginia. I begin at Yahoo on June 2, and I am trying to tie up as many loose ends as I can this month and help with transitioning my position at AFB, and then we will work on moving to somewhere near Yahoo's Sunnyvale headquarters in May.

Paula and I will dearly miss not being able to attend NFB of WV events, but I may sneak into one when you don't expect it, and I will certainly remain on this discussion list. For now, we will keep our little cabin in Morgantown for holiday visits home, so you never know when you will run into us.

Darren
