I sure wish I could have nominated someone for the Dick Porter award.
I'd have recommended Donna Calvert.
I think she is an excellent librarian and has been a friend o the Federation
for many years.
She and her staff are helpful, friendly and they truly understand our needs.
Donna has always been willing to take our suggestions into consideration.
Is the convention being streamed?  I sure hate to miss it but I will be
thinking of all of you.  If you have an extra Braille agenda, please see
that   I get oneeeeeeeeee

Just reminding you that the Dick Porter.    nominations need to be in by
9/1/14.    For those of you who have not been in our organization Long, the
Dick  Porter award is given to an individual who is not a Federationist, but
who demonstrates an understanding of and a believe in the philosophy of the
Federation.  This is an award that is not given every year and is not given
lightly so please take ample time to give serious consideration to any
nominees you might have.
