> Walter G. ‘Buster’ Smyth, Sr., 81, of Goshen Road, Morgantown, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday December 22, 2015. He was born on May 19, 1934 in Maidsville son of the late Glenn E. Smyth and Celeste Slaughter Osborne.
> Buster worked as a contractor and plumber for many years in the Morgantown and surrounding areas. Buster was also a Veteran of the United States Navy with four years active service and four years with the reserves.
> Buster is survived by his wife Jane Hetrick Smyth and two sons, Keith Smyth of Grant Town, WV and Walter G. Smyth, Jr., of Anchorage, AL; three daughters, Cynthia Braham and husband Freddie of Morgantown, Arlene Poling and husband David of La Barge, WY and Charlene Smyth of Bridgeport.
> Also surviving are his four grandchildren Roger Braham of Morgantown and Allen Poling of Rock Springs, WY, Jackie Shipley of Rivesville and Jeremy Sakacsi of Fairview, WV and great and great grandchildren, John, Ceirra, Lauren, Paige, Tanner, Emily, Zoe, Jack, Kyle, Brooklyn, Rebekka and Jordann

> Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Sunday, December 27, 2015 from 3pm until 6pm and again on Monday from 10am until time of services at 11am with Pastor John Abersold officiating. Burial will follow at the Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens with full military honors conducted by the Fairmont VFW Post 7048 and US Navy Honor Guard, Mid-Atlantic.
