Convention will be here before we know it. That leaves little Time to work
on those issues that have long been a tradition of our  affiliate;
specifically select people whom we want to recognize and honor

It has been suggested that Terry Matheny be nominated for the Richard Porter
award.  I will be glad to place this name in nomination before the committee
and I will be happy to have the plaque prepared if she is selected. I do,
however, need someone to write up The recommendation and I would like to
have it no later than August 15. This will give me ample time to place the
name before the committee and to get the plaque engraved.
