This tote is much smaller.  More like cell phone, car keys, and driver's
license.  But it does look very well made.  I never heard of "thirty-one"
but Jeanie says they are very popular and somewhat expensive.

The items you have for the auction sound nice.  I have some of the
thirty-one totes and some of their other items and like them a lot.  They
are great for taking to the grocery store to carry purchases instead of
fooling around with all of those plastic bags.

I have received a few auction items, but I do not know their values.  I
guess they are worth whatever we can get.  The items are:
++ 1 small Japanese motif vase (made in Macao)
++ 1 ruby red art glass vase (low profile centerpiece)
++ 1980 era Avon fan shaped (pie slice) ceramic jewelry box "Thirty-one" 
++ small flowered tote

I am still trying to get more "stuff"!

it's almost auction time again!  It's time to contact our local stores and
artisans. It's time to search our closets and cupboards for those new items
we have never used that we didn't think we could live without and have now
discovered that we can. It's time to dust off the baking utensils and crank
up the old  oven.  It's time to see if the old candy thermometer still
works. It's time to get out the knitting needles and the crochet hooks. It's
time to get ready to make some money for the national Federation of the
blind of West Virginia.

This is, as you know, our only affiliate fundraiser. Please do everything
possible to come up with great ideas for this year's auction.  We count on
each and everyone of you to make this a success. We couldn't do it without
you.
