Dear Karen,

I hope that the rest of last week's convention in Charleston was
successful for you NFB Chapter. It was really cool to sit in and
hear of the great things you are doing - especially with regards
to enhancing Braille literacy throughout the state. I don't know
that BAUM (or I can do much), but if you see an opportunity to
assist, please let me know.

Also, I simply wanted to say thank you for working me into the
agenda. It was my pleasure to meet both you and Ed in person to
share a bit about the VarioUltra, but also enjoyed meeting the
other members of your group. Please encourage them to contact me
with any follow-up information they may need.

I know that Ed is working with iCanConnect to get his VarioUltra.
If there any efforts from me that will be useful to this
objective, just give me a shout.

Best!
Roger

Hi Karen,

My apologies for the slow response. I was traveling most of the
day yesterday across country.

I've got it down and look forward to meeting you in Charleston!

Hi Karen,

Yes, I have a couple of low-vision devices that I can bring, too.

Roger, thank you for your response. This is great and we look
forward to having you at our Friday session. Do you have any
low-vision products? We have some low-vision folks in our group
who might be interested in such products.

Hi Karen,

I can make that timing work. My plan will be to come up on
Friday morning, so save the expense of hotel overnight. I'll be
around and available for anyone who may want to take a look
earlier in the day, too.

Thank you,
Roger

Hello, Roger
After speaking with our state president, Charlene Smyth, we have
come up with a scenario that I hope will work for you. There
will be time right after the Braille Literacy meeting, which is
scheduled to take place from two o'clock to four o'clock on
Friday afternoon. This would be a very good time because you
will be introduced to everyone at the meeting and I will
encourage people to stay afterward to look at the machine. Would
that work for you?

As I promised, here is the address for the hotel: Holiday Inn &
Suites Charleston West Wingate by Wyndham
400 & 402 Second Avenue
Charleston, WV 25303
I think the Wingate Hotel is right beside the one we're staying
in.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Karen McDonald
