Hi!

Yes indeed, if you think you're a Iphone power user, you can become very dangerous without any help from this book, *lol* Still, I will likely grab this soon, to discover things I have missed.

Cheers,
Dave

> With iOS 12, Apple has made it possible to use one command to perform a series of steps, giving you the ability to personalize your devices to easily perform the tasks most relevant to you. You can set up a shortcut to go to a website, send a message to a friend, skip to the next chapter of a podcast, or find your AirPods with a single command! Technology writer Anna Dresner provides a clear and concise introduction to Siri Shortcuts, which are based on the tasks you already perform, as well as how to create, edit, and share shortcuts in the new Shortcuts app. Using real examples, Dresner shows how to put steps (called actions) in a sequence and configure them with parameters so they do what you want. Example shortcuts start out simple and get increasingly complex, so you can learn as much as you want and find useful shortcuts regardless of your interest level. She also helps you find shortcuts created by others and figure out where to learn more.
