I am very sad to learn of this news. Richard and Cathy were extremely
helpful to me with exceptional advice on traveling in Rhode Island on
vacation on my many visits. He will be truly missed.

Hello Colleagues:



I regret to inform you that Richard Gaffney passed away yesterday. He has
been ill for quite sometime.  Richard was a founding member of our
affiliate, a long time leader and our immediate past president. Richard was
a mentor to many of us here in Rhode Island.  Personally he and Cathy
welcomed me in to the Federation family with open arms.  We had many
laughs. He always had a story to tell.



Please keep his wife Cathy in your thoughts and prayers.
