[NFBWV-Talk] Staying connected

Hi Keri and NFBWV colleagues!
Yep, working remotely is largely what I have done for the last 6 or 7 years. Group meetings on line are deifinitely challenging, but likely, these necessities are reare as the times in which we now need to get through. At lunch today, I believe there are around 20 confirmed cases here in our little country of 4.5 Million, and this is likely to grow, before we reach the peak of this pandemic.
On the bright side, our Ministry of Foreign Affairs and trade has suggested that all kiwis come home, if we aren't here already. It was recently reported that the new CEO of Air New Zealand took a substantial cut in pay. Apparently a flying kiwi pays a bit less than the previous head of Walmart, *lol* Go figger!
We will get through this, because we're a resilient if merry band. Montani semper liveri!
Cheers,
Dave

hi everyone,
I hope you all are staying safe. We are all facing some pretty big life
altering changes right now. I will be finishing my semester remotely,
and working remotely. I am very anxious at how bad things are yet to
get, and worried about staying in good concentration to get my course
work done, but I am going to do my best. I may not keep my 4.0 like I
want, but right now we just have to get through.

But don’t forget, during these times we may feel isolated and alone but we are not. While small, we are a federation family here in West Virginia and we need to look out for one another. So don’t forget those telephone calls, text messages and emails just to check on one another. If there’s anything I can do for any of you, I’m just an e-shout away.
