Hi all!

Sharing this, but also remembering Jack was President of the Clarksburg NFB
Chapter for several years during the 70s and 80s.


Jack was origionally licensed as KA8JFRX but later picked up N8CK.


Jack Warren McIntire, 89, of Stonewood, WV, passed away on Saturday,
September 19, 2020 at Genesis Salem Center in Salem, WV. He as born on
August 15, 1931 in Enterprise, WV to the late Argyl Dayton McIntire and Nell
(Daughtery) McIntire. He was the last surviving member of his immediate
family. Jack was also preceded in death by his wife Evelyn McIntire in 2011
after a long and happy marriage; three brothers: James, Argyl Jr. and Donald
McIntire; three sisters: Ida Elizabeth Odgen, Allenne Corley, and Carol
Blakeney; and several nieces and nephews.

 Jack worked at the Broom Factory in Stonewood until it's closing and then
on to work for the State of West Virginia at the rest areas along Interstate
79 in Bridgeport for many years. He loved music and played in many bands
including the Sun Downers and played many years at Ashley Camp Grounds. Jack
had many friends including Jeff Cottrell of East View whom he was friends
with for many years and often played at Jeff's house every Thursday from 6
until 10. He played the guitar and his favorite was bass guitar. Jack also
liked to go out to eat often, especially his favorite spot, Grand China
Buffett and Grill at East Point. He will be missed by his family and
friends. His family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Genesis Salem
Center for the great care given to Jack. A special thanks to a favorite
cousin who Jack thought a lot of, Walter Davis, who helped him over the past
several years. 

 Per Jack's wishes there will be no public services held and interment will
take place at the Enterprise I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Online condolences,
