Subject: [NFBWV-Talk] The Passing of Richard Campbell

It is with a heavy heart that I inform each of you that Richard Cambell died earlier this evening. This news was conveyed to me by his niece Brenda.
I know that you knew him as a fellow Federationist but I knew him for 15 years as a fellow Blind Vendor and I can speak to that in that capacity. Richard worked for 44 years as such, including serving for several years as Executive Chair for the WV Committee of Blind Vendors. He approached his job as a vendor with zest and passion until his retirement in 2020 due to health reasons, which seemed to accelerate after leaving the Program according to his niece.
We have lost people in a short amount and we are diminished by their loss, the loss of passionate Federationists, but they provided us with inspiration to live the life we want because of their zest for the organization. In that we can mourn their loss but celebrate their dedication and know they will be missed.
