Fellow Federationists,
We have done it again for the second year in a row. West Virginia has an
NFB National Scholarship finalist.
Congratulations go to Tatyana Tolliver Hughes, native of Dunbar, West
Virginia, who now attends Washington University in St. Louis Missouri,
concentrating on philosophy of law and African-American studies in her
schoolwork, which she hopes one day to put to work to bring visual and
either accessibility to underserved communities.
Having talked with her in the interview process, I can say she will be an
inspiration to us all someday.
See below for the official press release from President Riccobono.
Sincerely,
Marcus Soulsby
President, NFBWV
