Good evening folks;
I am hereby confirming my immediate resignation as President of the New Hampshire State Affiliate of the NFB, effective on this day, the 14th of April, 2010. However, I have many loose ends to finish up and expect the actual transfer will take a week or so, and during which time, I still will be available by our list and personal email.
I am also pasting Dr. Maurer's letter belowfor your convenience.
For those that wish to advise Dr. Maurer of their own resignation, or just respond personally, please press control+shift+R to respond to all.

Thank you.

Regards
Marie Johnson

Dear Marie:

            In a telephone conversation that occurred today, Wednesday, April 14, 2010, you advised me that you were resigning from the presidency of the National Federation of the Blind of New Hampshire effective immediately. You also advised me (although I did not hear it from them directly) that the first vice president and the second vice president of the affiliate were planning to resign from their respective offices effective immediately. I accept your resignation, although it seems rather sudden. I will work with the members of the affiliate to assure that the convention planned for mid-May is conducted as previously announced. I will work with other leaders of the Federation to assure that adequate plans are made for the upcoming convention and for building our affiliate in New Hampshire in the upcoming months and years.

            Thank you for your courtesy in advising me of your resignation. I wish you personally success in your future endeavors. I am sorry that the presidency did not work for you, and I would do all that I can to sooth hurt feelings.

Sincerely,

Marc Maurer, President

National Federation of the Blind
