You’re doing it!! Read all about it!! Today is Earth Day, a time to reflect on our mother planet & renew our  resolve to make it a better, healthier place for all of us various creatures living here.  There are many ways to work on this. Each of us doing his/her part will help. The first Earth Day in 1970 was more a hopeful wish & goal. 53 years later a global awareness & impact is all around us: governments, industries, researchers, & a multitude of charitable organizations & just plain folks are working on the many aspects & problems involved. As NFB Equalizers we’re working toward promoting awareness & improving the daily lives of those experiencing vision loss,  through fundraising.This year’s Walk deadline is less than a month away.  It’s time to kick for the finish line!Thank you to the many generous donors this week. Our EQUALIZERS team is STILL ATOP the leaderboard!  Total raised so far is $5,088 !(Note: FIS Staff team is still about  $2,300 behind us but will keep at it!)We still have TWO fundraisers in the WalkTop 5! Continued Congratulations to both our very own Co-Captain Fred Fournier, still #1, raising $2,425!! And to our daring duo  Dana & Tikva, still at #3, raising $926! Super job!Continued Thanks to ALL you other Team members. EVERY donation, large or small helps. Keep at it!
