Good Labor Day Weekend All!

 

I spoke with Deanna this morning, and I thought I would share some info
about our upcoming State Convention.  If you have any questions, or things
to add, please reply to the email for all to see!

9:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Topics/Speakers planned:

John G. Pere Jr., Executive Director for Advocacy and Policy, NFB

Daniel B. Frye, J.D.

Disability Lawyer Sheila Zakre

Andrew (Drew) Crook, Software Engineer

Stephen Poirier (sp), lighted canes

Joan Nelson, Talking books

Bee keeping

and hopefully one or two more!

 

What should you bring?

$10 registration fee-cash or check payable to NFB of New Hampshire, and note
"State Convention" in the memo line.

Respond to this email or directly to Deanna if you have low vision
technology you are willing to bring and share with others at the convention.

Cash for prizes being raffled through the game of squares-$5 per square

An optional door prize item to donate-valued at $25 or less

 

As of this morning, Deanna has a list of 44 guests that have RSVP'd to
attend.  This includes members, presenters, drivers.

A final number of attendees needs to be reported to the caterer by September
8.  Please respond through this email or directly to Deanna if you are no
longer able to attend, or if you haven't already RSVP'd and would like to be
added to the list to join the great live State Convention experience!
