The Twelve Days Of Christmas



This is a reminder the theme for this years 12 days, Welcoming Sweetie and
remembering tasha as well as remembering those before us in our NFBNH
Affiliate.



One the first day of Christmas of what they gave me to me....

A bundle of love with a wet black nose kiss. (Sweetie)



On the second day of Christmas of what they gave to me. Two pokes and being
the fatherly one (Tony NFB). In addition

He was an incredible force in our organization.That will forever be
remembered.



On the third day of Christmas of what they gave to me...

Three cat toy balls that ding that seems to be a huge hit with others. You
used to love to play with. (Tasha)

Even if at times we didn't play with her enough, which i'm trying to do a
little bit more with this bundle of joy, she would get our attention with
those balls kind of like lets play. We miss you tasha girl



On the fourth day of Christmas they gave to me. Four lengthy
stories.Sometimes you have to pull aside two hours to listen to.

( Honoring Tony’s sidekick today Irene. Loved her many stories she would
share on the phone and there are times I felt bad that I had the letter go
because I couldn't be stay on for length of time. But hope she knew that I
loved her just the same. She as well as Tony will be missed, especially if
the two of them such a power couple.



On the fifth day of christmas, what they gave to me.

Five history lessons, with some slippers.

Remembering Ed Meskis and not only his knowledge of history, his

Special slippers he has worn numerous times at general sessions and we'd
find him sleeping in the chair.



On the 6th day of Christmas what they gave to me.

6 distinctive meows and rubs on the legs.

Sweetie has a thing now when you don't see her as she’s near she lets out a
meow and then you know when she’s near when she rubs your legs under the
table.



On the 7th day of Christmas they gave to me. Seven organized lists with a
smile because of how much she had valued her role.

Remembering our parents division coordinator from National Federation Of
The Blind Penny Duffy. She was amazing and had an amazing personality. She
is missed so much by many.



On the eighth day of Christmas what they gave to me.

8 meetings to prep for meeting with congress at Washington Seminar my first
year being involved with NFB.

Remembering Marie Johnson in her presidential duty when I first joined NFB
and was at my first NFB Event, We didn't have that many meetings and I
understood where people were busy with the seminar stuff we had to have the
meeting at the end of the night and go for hours to make sure we had the
stuff down LOL but personally I would have liked earlier when the brain was
still working but had to be flexible.



On the 9th day of Christmas what they gave to me.... Adding on to
remembering ed remembering his seeing eye dog Gyro because of how loyal and
hard working the dog was to help ed navigate in the world.





On the tenth day of Christmas, what they gave to me. In light of my post
recently 10 onesie outfits for avoiding licking wounds.

As I noted before, she was a trooper tasha, with that, because we tried the
cone on the head trick. My parents friends always remembers this, but
sadly, because of medical stuff, not sure if it will come up in
conversation again, think mom was still in work.I had been in work, dad
picked her up from vet she had that thing she hated it so much she tore
through the house like the zoomie action.



On the 11th day of Christmas what they gave to me.......On the eleventh day
of Christmas what they gave to me…..Her kind demeaner and enjoyment to
dance as I shown in my photography during meetings and convention
adventures she will be remembered for this.

Linda Vailincourt on our executive board we will always remember her
presence.



On The 12th Day of Christmas what they gave to me…..  A lot of memories,
laughs, love, and support to help us get through this thing called life.
To help us focus on whats in front of us in our lives and not behind that
will hold us back.  This concludes this years 12 day Merry Christmas and a
healthy and happy New Year.
