Sorry, just saw the post asking how to turn off the phone. It should work both for turning it off and for turning it on; hold down the lock button for a few seconds, and it should eventually say “Power”. Double-tap on the “Power” button and the phone should turn off. Then to turn it back on, hold down the same lock button for a few seconds after the phone is completely off for a few seconds as it may take a moment or two to recognize what you’re pressing, and eventually the phone should light up and eventually Voiceover should start speaking again at the lock screen. What model phone do you use?
Sincerely
Andrew Harmon

It only vibrates. No speech is coming up.

I’m not sure if this changes from model to model or not, but with my SE 2nd gen I hold down the lock button on the side of the phone until a message pops up with a button I can double-tap on to “Power” down, or “Cancel”. It should take about 5-10 seconds of holding down or so.
Sincerely
Andrew Harmon

Hello
Try a three-finger double-tap if you are using a phone or a tablet? The 3-finger double-tap works for my I-Phone SE 2nd gen.
Sincerely
Andrew Harmon

Turning
On voice-over Hello Jody
This is Joanne Jordan here. My iPhone is frozen. I can’t turn on voice-over. Can you tell me how to turn on voice-over? I can’t communicate at all!
