Hello
Below is the email sent by James Ziegra from one of his colleagues at the Disability Rights Center. The second section is the information on HB 613, though if you would like to mention 67, you can feel free. The critical thing is to mention 613, and the link to find your representative is at the bottom of the email:

Subject: Language for HB 613 and HB 67
Here is some of the language from the DRC Action alert that I discussed this morning at the coalition meeting. Also, at the bottom of the text is a hyperlink to find your state representative.
This Thursday, June 26th, the N.H. House will vote on two bills that directly impact accessible voting. Please contact your representatives TODAY and ask that they:
ACCEPT the recommendation to pass HB 67
REJECT the recommendation to pass HB 613
HB 67 Protects Voting Rights
HB 67 enables voters with disabilities to vote privately and independently—just like any other voter. HB 67 upholds current law which guarantees people with disabilities equal access to voting and elections.
HB 613 Violates the Legal Rights of Voters with Disabilities
HB 613 would permit cities and towns to administer elections in ways that would directly conflict with the voting rights of individuals with disabilities guaranteed by the Americans with Disabilities Act and New Hampshire’s Constitution.
Examples of these legal violations include:
Allowing cities and towns to opt out of providing Accessible Voting Systems during local elections unless a voter provides written notice of their intent to use the system at least 60 days in advance of an election. No other voter is required to notify their town’s clerk if, and how, they intend to vote at any point prior to election day.
Shifting the responsibility for requesting the state-owned Accessible Voting System from municipalities to individual disabled voters—despite municipalities being legally responsible for running local elections. This places an additional burden on voters with disabilities and risks exposing them to intimidation or pushback from local officials, or harassment from other residents.
Call your representatives TODAY and ask them to ACCEPT HB 67 and REJECT HB 613. NH legislators must not pass legislation that clearly and unlawfully discriminates against voters with disabilities!
