This Nissan vitally important for us to express our opinion and needs on. 

I also want to add thet there is current a lawsuit against this action being taken by the Stare of New Hampshire as a.stand alone, not related to this federal case.

The lawsuit is in the appeal stage as a decision has already been passed on NH SB 287 .  That decision is not in favor of absentee ballot voting.  The argument is based on  perceived voter fraud and the inability of those using such ballots to show proper ID in order to secure said ballot.  

It concerns me that NH is more than happy to take away voter rights and may be more strongly inclined to do so with Federal approval.   I could be wrong, but I seem to recall reading that the USPS is really targeting States that have not turned over their voter information. Last I heard, New Hampshire had not turned over voter information to the federal government. I will applaud them for that.

Hello all

I wanted to forward the below email from Karen Rosenberg from the Disability Rights Center regarding potential behind-the-scenes changes at the national Post Service that would negatively impact our ability to vote as NH citizens if they are implemented. Fortunately as you will see below we have a chance to submit our thoughts on the changes, so if you can and have the time, please consider sending comments regarding these changes. Elevator-pitch length summary is any state that doesn’t submit the electorate roles to the federal government won’t be allowed to send ballots by mail, and our secretary of state has already rebuffed several attempts to get this info.

Please also consider passing this along to anyone else you think would want to send in info; we only have until July 2nd to submit comments.

I am writing to share information from the National Disability Rights Network (NDRN) regarding the United States Postal Service's proposed rule that negatively impacts use of U.S. mail to submit ballots. Comments are due by or on July 2nd.  NDRN is encouraging individuals and advocacy organizations to submit comments.
