Congratulations on assembling what appears to be thirty-three participants for the NFB of New Hampshire (NFBNH) Affiliate Convention for Saturday, May 30, 2026. Can you share with us here, as I am sure it has already been shared with those who have recently attended the Lakes Region Chapter Meeting zoom gatherings, who our National Representative will be at this year’s Convention? Further, I do believe that I recall seeing a draft agenda for our annual State Convention shared on this list earlier but knowing that we are now only several weeks out from this important function, I would personally be appreciative of the opportunity of reviewing the day-long agenda again here. As always, I am aware that the circulation of a draft agenda does not mean that last-minute changes, beyond the President’s control, may not occur, so please do not worry about that potential as a reason for not sharing the program with those of us who have prioritized participation at the State Affiliate Convention in New Hampshire. Indeed, sharing the agenda can sometimes attract the participation of those who have determined not to attend. I realize that those who decide to attend after Monday, May 18, 2026, may not have access to lunch, But Fred explained to me that they could still appear at the Convention venue and attend throughout the day, without the opportunity to have lunch.

If news about our National Representative has been mentioned here previously, I probably just missed seeing the message containing this information. I look forward to visiting with each of you at this year’s Affiliate Convention, and for those regulars who ordinarily come, but cannot this year for some particular reason, please know that your absence will be missed and your contributions will be eagerly awaited for the next occasion that we have to gather as a Federation Family here in New Hampshire.

Until Saturday, May 30, 2026, please all be safe and well. Do plan to attend the State Affiliate Convention if you are at all able, as involvement in the affairs of the National Federation of the Blind (NFB), and its affiliates, chapters, divisions, committees, and other entities, strengthen our cause, keep you better informed about what is transpiring in the blindness community, and invite you to contribute your time, treasure, and talent to our important work at all political levels of our organization.
