<p>Whatβs the backstory, you say?</p>
<p>While the Americans with Disabilities Act set the standard for HOW vehicles and systems (like public transportation) should be accessible, it did NOT provide the funding to make it happen (or even require an accessible system to exist)!</p>
<p>People living with vision loss continue to face tremendous challenges to independence and access. And that obstacle has far-reaching implications β on everything from childcare to employment, to health care to the simpler things we take for granted, like a spontaneous dinner with friends.</p>
