<p>This is a reminder that our next advocacy webinar is scheduled for <strong>Friday, February 2, at 2 P.M.</strong> This is a Zoom webinar and it is open to all guide dog handlers, whether you are a Seeing Eye graduate or not, so please share this message with anyone who might be interested. This is an area where we need to work together as a community. </p>
<p>We’ll be discussing the denials and other barriers to equal access that guide dog handlers in the U.S. and Canada are facing when using rideshare services. We’ll start with a refresher on your rights and responsibilities when using rideshares. Then we’ll talk about proactive steps you can take before an access issue occurs and what you can do when it does happen. We’ll open up the floor for dialogue and questions. </p>
