My name is Mary Fernandez and i am a freshmen at emory University. One
thing I found especially useful is that my professors made an effort
to talk to me. they never singled me out, they never went, oh hi, they
just came to me after class and asked to meet. Of course, if the
professor doesn't take the initiative the student should. One on one
is the best way that the two can understand each other, and thus be on
the way to forming a healthy relationship.
