employment issues, which is located at

I am writing to you today specifically to ask for your help. Would you

please inform eligible students that Lighthouse International is still

A total of five Scholarships will be awarded across those three

categories. The criteria for eligibility are that applicants:

visual acuity of 20/200 or less in the better eye,

and/or a visual field of less than 20 degrees in the

   better eye).

 - Must be US citizens, and reside and attend an

accredited school in any of the following states:

CT, DE, FL, GA, MA, MD, ME, NC, NH, NJ, NY,

PA, RI, SC, VA, WV and VT, or Washington, DC.

Proof of citizenship will be required of all winners.

Scholarships are based on academic and personal achievements and

candidates are not required to demonstrate financial need.

Previous winners (in any category) of Lighthouse Scholarships, current

Lighthouse employees and members of their immediate families are

ineligible.

You can learn more about these scholarships, which reward excellence,

recognize accomplishments and help students who are blind or partially

sighted achieve their career goals at

If you have any questions regarding the Scholarship and Career Awards

program, please e-mail us at

sca at lighthouse.org

Please ask your students to specify that they learned about this

opportunity from eSight Careers Network.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best regards,

Nancy
