[Philip So]

Hi everyone,

My name is Philip So.  I would like to say a quick hello to everyone
on the list.

A little about myself.  I am in Bergen County and enjoy both the
excitement of New York City and the relative tranquility of suburb.

I did my undergrad in Economics at Columbia, and worked in economic
research and consulting for a bit.  This September, I have just begun
my Masters in the field of social policy, and plan to do a Ph.D. down
the line in the future.

I love soccer and used to play everyday before losing my sight.  I
also enjoy music and started learning the guitar and piano a year
after my vision loss - even though I still absolutely suck at both
instruments smile.  One of my favorite pieces is called "The Heart
Asks the Pleasure First" composed by Michael Nyman.  It's the theme
song from the 1993 movie "The Piano" about a woman who has a
disability and communicates with the world through music.
