the meeting came to order at 8:02pm.  Quintina said the NFB pledge.  Everyone introduced themselves.  Members in attendance: Gregory Rivera, Quintina Singleton, Mary Fernandez, >Evelyn Valdez, Ben Barcelon, Jason Capatti, Philip, So, Brian Mackey, Melissa Hurff, Devin , Daniel Romero, Paul Grinier, Jessica Scannell, Sarah Winestein, Jeremy Capatti, Hamlet Diaz, Carrie Lanes, and Sean OKeith.  

 In Perthamboy, celebration of braille.  There will be a raffle for a Louis Braille coin, and admission is free.  The NJABS website (njabs.org) has been updated.  Please notify Evelyn about ideas for a fundraiser.  There will be a quarterly NJABS newslater; if you wish to submit articles contact Quintina.  Evelyn and Greg spoke about the importance of the NJABS.  Conference calls will be the second Sunday of every month.  Evelyn encouraged everyone to bring their friends into the chapter.  Melissa asked about the letters that are to be delivered to President Obama about the importance of Braille literacy.  the meeting was adjourned at 8:33pm.
