Graduate Students Invited to Apply for RGK Center Summer Fellowship Program
on Nonprofit Sector

The RGK Center for Philanthropy and Community Service at the University of
Texas at Austin is inviting graduate students from around the United States
to applyto the center's Summer Fellowship Program.

Fellows participate in an intensive four-week seminar (June 1-24, 2011) that
culminates in the completion of papers for the RGK Center's working papers
series. Over the course of the seminar, fellows will critically examine
issues in the nonprofit sector and will work on their own research projects
in nonprofit management, volunteerism, international civil society, social
entrepreneurship, and philanthropic studies. Students are expected to submit
a draft research paper that they would like to refine and prepare for
academic publication during the summer program.

Ph.D. and masters-level graduate students considering doctoral work are
invited to apply. The application process is competitive and takes into
consideration the academic potential of the student and the working paper
topic.

Stipends of $3,000 each are provided to each Summer Fellow. Housing near the
UT Austin campus is provided by the RGK Center. No course credit is
provided.

Complete program information and the application are available at the RGK
Center Web site.
