It is very effective and easy to give; however, it doesn't seem to be as palatable as Heart Guard, so we need to poke it down or give it in cheese or some other food. Also, it is a good idea to not give both an oral flea preventative and heart worm meds on the same day. We wait two days to give them the other. If so what are your comments? It sounds so much easier to just pop the dog a pill rather than putting the front line on their backs.
