One of the dogs didn’t like it, so my husband cut it into smaller pieces and put it in peanutbutter. The other dog gobbled up the pill, no problem. It is very effective and easy to give; however, it doesn't seem to be as palatable as Heart Guard, so we need to poke it down or give it in cheese or some other food. Also, it is a good idea to not give both an oral flea preventative and heart worm meds on the same day. We wait two days to give them the other.
