[Njtechdiv] a dot PLS file

Hi guys on the audio stream of freeform radio station WFMU some of the streams are mp3 streams that are a dot PLS file that windows media doesn’t recognize not sure why wasn’t trying to download it was trying to open it.  what plays a dot PLS file?
