Janie,

 

My best guess why you are hearing the words without sounds is that you have tripped the mute switch on the part of your phone just above the volume buttons. When I put my phone into mute, my words are spoken but the clicks and other sounds that I expect are not audible. When you find this switch, the position to hear sounds is upward or towards the touch screen.

check in the settings center for form fields

insert v

BTW no sounds on the iPhone now

hear all the words read but no sounds

went into settings and sounds and swiped down to the end where it says loked screen and keyboard sounds

but still no sounds

any suggestions?

Hello All,

 

After updating my version of JAWS 15 to the latest update, I have been experiencing some glitches. When navigating on the Internet, it isn’t recognizing that there are form fields on the page. Even when I press “e” to move to the form fields, it doesn’t do anything. What in my JAWS settings do I need to adjust in order to resolve this? Please let me know when you get a moment. I will greatly appreciate it.
