[Njtechdiv] Firefox folders

in thunderbird, why is there 2 inboxes and trash folders, and 3 levels 
even though they are announced as level 0?
when new mail comes in, both inboxes have the same new mail, but, if I 
read thru the emails in the first inbox and then empty it out, the 
second inbox
retains the emails. but if I empty the second inbox, the first inbox is 
also emptied. what's going on?

I'm using JAWS 14.
