starting with 43, Firefox is requiring addins, especially extensions, to
be digitally signed to thwart stability and security issues. but this
can be disabled by:

launch Firefox, press control+l, type (with no no spaces)about:config,
press enter.
press enter on the I'll be careful, I promise button.
you'll be placed in a search field, type (with no spaces)
vpinstall.signing.required, press enter and then tab.
you should have an entry that matches what you typed earlier. the value
is set to true.
press enter to toggle it to false.
press alt+f4 and again to close Firefox if it is still running.
launch Firefox and Web Visum should be back. if not close Firefox, wait
a few seconds and launch FF again.

if this doesn't work, please let the list know and if you find an answer
that fixes your question.

> Hi listers ken with a problem. yesterday firefox updated automaticly as it’s supposed to but it disabled all add ons. firefox says it can’t even varify skype click to call or bingbar. it has disabled all of those as well as social fixer and webvisum. there is no way to enable webvisum again at least none that can be seen by a screen reader. when I try installing a new webvisum it says Firefox prevented asking you whether or not you want to install this, but when I hit allow over and over and over again even leaning on the alt plus a nothing happens. so since this is obviously some goof in mozilla’s update how do I reenable webvisum or get a new version. it won’t even remove it properly it just sits there looking dumb. any ideas?
