[Njtechdiv] microphone problems

Hi devision members, ken with a question.  have a microphone my sister bought me for christmas a couple years ago but it’s got a problem.  it is a headset microphone and in order to use it I have to either plug in to the headphone jack or the mic jack.  the audio is too low here on this mic.  any ideas on the coast of a USB mic or where I can get a cord for a mic on my desk that ward biondi gave me?
