I would not talk with these bozos, just say "no thanks, not interested." 
and hang up.
Carey engaged a conversation with him because he is more tech savvy than 
the average user. and it was great towards the end, since he works for 
the FTC.

     Recorded by a very tecky gentleman with the Federal Trade Commission,
     who really knew how to record it all!
     Pass it on to friends and family, a very important lesson to be learned
     here!
