one way is:
press the Windows key and start typing,Set Default Programs. as soon as 
JAWS says this, press the enter key.
press tab until JAWS announces that you're in a list view.
type i until you hear Internet Explorer and press alt+s to set IE as the 
default browser,
or tab to and press the space bar on the Set this program as the default 
program button.
tab to and press the space bar on the ok button.
